Hi, if it’s cutting out when the fan kicks in, then I would say that you need a new distributor. When the car warms up, there is something in the distributor that then goes faulty. You can't plug it in. replacing just the cap and arm isn't enough, you need to replace the whole dizzy with a known good one.
Does your car still use a fob for the immobiliser?
